On the same website, you can buy your first ski pass: https://skipass.lecollet.com/

However, you’ll need to pick it up at the lift ticket offices or at the kiosks provided.

  • What equipment do I need to climb Collet?

    For more information: https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/actualites/A14389

  • Where do the ESF ski lessons take place?

The meeting point for ESF lessons is at Super Collet, at an altitude of 1650 metres.

There are several ways to get there:

    – Take the slopes (if you and your child have the right level to ski down the slopes)

    – Take your car (about 4 km)

    – Take a free shuttle bus when it’s running

  • Is there an internal shuttle to get up to Super Collet?

To get up to the Super Collet, free shuttles are usually provided at weekends (excluding school holidays) and 7 days a week during school holidays. Timetables can be consulted on our website as soon as we have information about the renewal of the service.

  • Is there a wifi point in the resort?

There is currently no free wifi point at Le Collet. When the ski lifts are open, a free WIFI point is available at the Tourist Office.

  • Is there a picnic room?

During the winter season, you can use the salle Antoine Cros, Place Marcel Dumas, at the bottom of the resort, for lunch. Tables, chairs and bins are available, as well as public toilets. This room is closed outside the winter season.

  • Do I have to pay to park at Le Collet?

The Collet car parks are all free.

  • How can I get down to Allevard during my stay?

During the winter season, M Reso will be organising shuttle buses to take you down to Allevard and back up to the collet during the day. Timetables will be posted online as soon as we receive them from the transport services.

You can also use your own vehicle.

  • Are there charging points for electric cars?

There are currently no charging points for electric cars, but you can find one 12 km away in Allevard-les-Bains.

  • How often are the roads cleared of snow?

To go up to Collet, you need to have 4 winter tyres OR chains or snow socks to equip at least the two drive wheels of your vehicle. If you have both, it’s even better!

The roads are cleared of snow when it snows. However, between two snowplough passes, the road can be covered with snow, sometimes to a considerable extent during heavy falls, which is why it’s so important to equip your vehicle.

Don’t hesitate to check the weather and road conditions, and to stop off at chain-laying areas if necessary. It is preferable to equip your vehicle as soon as you feel that the road conditions are making it difficult to climb, as it will be more difficult to chain up at the side of the road if you get stuck, and traffic would be hindered by stopping on the road in the middle of a climb.

  • Where are the toilets open to the public?

At the bottom of the resort, at 1450 metres, you’ll find toilets at the kiosk in Place Marcel Dumas, opposite the lift ticket offices. There are also toilets at the Salle Antoine Cros.

At Super Collet, toilets are available in the Super Collet car park at the foot of the pistes.

Toilets are also available at Pré-rond at the foot of the pistes.

  • Will there be snow at Le Collet this winter?

Our favourite answer is YES of course! As we do every year, we placed our orders well in advance to make sure we had some in stock for the coming season. But to be perfectly honest, we can’t answer this question too far in advance, as our crystal ball has been on the fritz ever since our host Sébastien tried to juggle with it and accidentally dropped it…

Rest assured, Le Collet is a ski area where you can ski from an altitude of 1450 metres to 2100 metres, so fortunately there’s a very good chance of finding snow. Whatever happens, however, the teams at the Tourist Office and in the resort will make sure your stay is a memorable one!
