Tourism and disability

For a few years now, Le Collet has been one of those resorts that have committed themselves to the “Tourisme et Handicap” label. It allows people with a disability to access the joys of winter sports.

Ease of access

At Le Collet resort, access to the slopes and ski lifts has been made easier for people with disabilities. Easy access to car parks, chairlifts adapted to specific equipment, skiing is now accessible to all.

A handiskiing offer with the ESF

Widely involved in the defence of tourism and handicap, the ESF of Le Collet allows everyone to feel that gliding sensation. In fact, it offers perfectly adapted equipment and teaching. Also, 2 types of equipment are proposed and are perfectly adapted to the public concerned:

– the trotti-ski: this equipment has been designed for people who can stand upright. The instructor stays next to his pupil to accompany them.

– Tandem skiing: this equipment is intended for people with reduced mobility or with another pathology. The instructor guides the equipment. With this equipment, access to the chairlifts is possible.

Adapted ski passes

Ski passes remain compulsory for the person accessing the handiski. The resort applies specific prices. The price of the ski pass is 50% of the adult daily rate and the accompanying person, when the disability makes it compulsory, benefits from a free ski pass.
