Contemplating Mont-Blanc from the summits
Hikers know that you can see Mont Blanc from the various Collet passes. In fact, it’s a must-do during a stay at Le Collet.
At the Col de l’Occiput and Col de Claran, the most easily accessible, Mont Blanc rises up in its white robe and leaves you contemplative. It has to be said that at 4,808 metres, it is quite imposing. The view will leave you speechless, for it is an exceptional spectacle. If the weather conditions are favourable, you won’t be able to miss it. In summer, its white mass is unmistakable, and in winter you’ll easily recognise its rounded dome. And you can’t go wrong either: it’s the highest peak in the area.
Activities for contemplation
At Le Collet, there are plenty of activities to help you contemplate Mont Blanc. Just climb a little and you’ll see it standing out in the distance.
Hiking, mountain biking or simply taking the chairlift… as soon as you reach the summits, you’ll notice it. Take a break and admire the scenery. After all, you need to take the time to enjoy and immortalise the moment, so take your camera with you.
